Course Description:
Who are these people making these decisions in Sacramento? Come and join us for this interactive session as we look at how laws are made in California. We will explore the structure and roles within California's State Legislature, understand how a bill is proposed and debated, and learn the varied pathways a bill can follow before becoming law - or being rejected. This course will also address current legislative issues in dental assisting and examines strategies for engagement, including how individuals may influence legislation through advocacy or direct involvement.
